iTero Digital Impressions
The iTero handheld wand takes a digital, 3D image of your prepared teeth, stopping as needed. The wand is non-invasive, and you can breathe and swallow as needed during the procedure. If you need to move or adjust, you can do so – the accuracy of the handheld wand is first-rate. Needing to “re-do” impressions is rare. iCat FLX
The iCAT 3-D Dental Imaging System affords a new level of patient comfort and accuracy in diagnosing orthodontic issues. This system uses 95% less radiation than traditional hospital-based CT scan machines and gives us a 3-dimensional image of the patient’s teeth and jaws. This allows Dr. McReath to precisely plan the exact movement of the teeth without the guesswork of traditional or digital X-rays, which are only 2-dimensional.
